Help Surbiton Farmers Market with an Hour of Your Time Once a Month

We hold Surbiton Farmers Market on the third Saturday of every month…and we need some additional volunteers to help us set up and take down the market every month.

In practice this means setting up the safety barriers behind each stall on the road and putting up the organisers gazebo with table, chairs, notice boards etc.

We start by having a coffee in Gordon Bennetts at 7.30am 🙂 and then set up barriers etc until 8.30; we can then cover the market with our existing volunteers until the take down when we need to plus up numbers again from 1.00pm, usually finishing by 1.30pm.

So if you think you may be able to help us with your members on one Saturday morning a month from 7.30-8.30 & 1.00-1.30 that would be fabulous and we would be terribly grateful.

I feel there is a good synergy between us already with both organisations supporting a common charity, Kingston Carers, so working together in order to make the market happen each month would be another positive benefit for all of us.
